Charlotte and Phil

Opening a holiday let has been a lifelong dream for Charlotte. After years working in the corporate world—Phil in IT and Charlotte in recruitment—we understand just how important it is to take a proper break.

Phil grew up in Suffolk and has always loved its peaceful landscapes and slower pace of life. Charlotte, a born-and-bred Londoner, didn’t just fall in love with Phil—but also with Suffolk’s beautiful scenery, big skies, and sense of space.

Together, we wanted to create a space that reflects what we value most: rest, relaxation, and feeling completely at home. Whether you're looking for total downtime or planning to explore everything this incredible area has to offer, we hope you'll find that here.

Meet Bella & Peggy – Our Four-Legged Welcoming Committee
Copse on the Broads simply wouldn’t be the same without our much-loved office dogs, Bella and Peggy. Bella is 11 and Peggy is 9, and they’re very much part of the family (and the team!).

We love exploring the UK with them, but over the years we found it surprisingly difficult to find places that were not only dog-friendly, but truly welcoming to dogs—especially if you’re travelling with more than one.

That’s one of the reasons we created Copse on the Broads: a place where dogs are genuinely welcome, not just tolerated. Bella and Peggy are always happy to share their favourite spots for walkies, and they can’t wait to welcome some new furry friends to Oulton Broad - we're just next door!
